Friendly staff at this lovingly rebuilt from next to nothing railway. Beautifully restored locomotives and comfortable rolling stock to complement the views when travelling along the line. Well worth a visit whether for a short journey or the whole day. A credit to everyone at the railway.

Very relaxing steam train ride through some of the best countryside England has to offer. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back again.

Wow, what a lovely railway, probably the best we have been to! Started with some really friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. All the stations were spotless and very well maintained! The trains all ran exactly on time, and the trains were clean and comfortable. The scenery was a good hour ride each way.

Vintage railway. Lovely views. Wheelchair accessible. Buffet car on the train. Steam and diesel locomotives on different days...check the schedule. Beware that the toilets and refreshments close at Cheltenham before the last train leaves, so if you get a photo of the train as it recoupes, you miss them.

A great railway to go to for everyone; there were people of all ages visiting when we went. Depending when you go there may be up to three steam engines in operation, and with it being such a long track there are a number of stations to get off at and have a look around. The stations and platforms themselves are well kept with the plant beds looked after, while the trains and coaches were in great condition. All of the staff were very friendly and would happily answer any of your questions or start a conversation with you themselves. At the stations there are a few different things to do, ranging from reading about the history of the line to a large collection of railway related memorabilia. If you time it right, it's possible to catch a train from Cheltenham racecourse to stop and get off for an hour or so at each station, before catching one to go all the way back from Broadway. Alternatively you can pick up the train at any station to start your journey. Food and drinks are available on all trains from the buffet car, with hot food available on one of the trains (you need to time this one right!). Through parts of the journey there are fantastic views over the Malvern Hills, with the possibility to see the Black Mountains on a very clear day. You also have the opportunity to go through a tunnel that is nearly 700 foot in length and across a 15 arch viaduct. The journey time from one end of the line to the other is around an hour and a half, and with the line being around 14 miles in length, it's a very good way to spend a day. Whether you are a keen train spotter or are simply looking to have a day out near Cheltenham, this is an attraction well worth visiting.

Booked a carriage for a hen party. Had a fantastic time. Watching the stream train change sides was amazing. The guides were super helpful and knowledgable yet left us to carry on with our party bits also. Staff were lovely and attentative. Toilets on board, lovely and clean. The bride loved jumping into the drivers seat too! Direction sign from the bus stop at the racecourse would be a helpful.
